The HEART and SOUL of Heartland Outlet
Heartland Outlet is staffed almost entirely by a large family of volunteers. Much of what we can do is limited only by our ability to find volunteers excited about our unique and effective mission to fund HEART ministries and people in need. Please consider joining us in making a difference.
Cashier
Assist customers with checking out and accepting payment using a Point-of-Sale device.
Customer Service
Assist customers with home goods (vanities, large appliances, etc.), write tickets for checkout and pick up. Assist with merchandise presentation and general customer questions.
Warehouse
Various duties that may include stocking merchandise, helping customers load vehicles, unloading semis, operating a pallet jack, delivering pallets to other areas of the warehouse and store, and other duties as needed.
Merchandise Preparation
Help unpack merchandise, organize items, price appropriately, and display on the sales floor.
Assembly
Assemble boxed items for display in the store such as furniture, shelving, cabinets and tool boxes.
Test and Repair
Test and/or repair small engines, bicycles, appliances, and tools.
Customer Loading
Various duties that may include helping customers load vehicles. Other various duties as available to support Warehouse.
